New transmitter for Scotland

article date: Wednesday, May 4, 2011

ref: 370

We’re pleased to announce that the Digital One network has just switched on a new transmitter near Rosneath, north west of Glasgow.

As a result, DAB digital radio listeners in the area will get new or improved coverage of the national commercial stations.

The transmitter is on the Rosneath peninsula, close to the banks of the River Clyde and covers the towns of Helensburgh and Gourock as well as parts of nearby Greenock.

The national commercial stations also broadcast from many other transmitters in Scotland and beyond. Look here for full details of our current transmitters.
