United Christian Broadcasters (UCB) has today begun broadcasting nationally on digital radio.

UCB UK was previously available on digital radio across large areas of England, Wales and Northern Ireland but from today can now be heard across the UK and Northern Ireland, wherever there is a digital radio signal.

UCB’s Chief Executive, Ian Mackie said “From John O’Groats to Lands End and from County Londonderry to East Anglia – UCB will be aired to millions. Many people who were not able to tune in on digital radio before will now have access to UCB Christian radio. “We’ve waited a long time for this dream to become a reality – these are exciting days.”

Glyn Jones, Operations Director of Digital One has welcomed the launch of UCB UK. “United Christian Broadcasters have had stations in some parts of the country for a while, but the national launch of UCB UK is a big step for Christian broadcasting. UCB listeners have already shown that they find the idea of UCB UK becoming a national station exciting, inspiring and motivating. The response to the recent radiothon and appeal which raised more than £750,000 was amazing.”
